Parker Posey Preservation Society

My three favorite actresses are 1) Parker Posey, 2) Zooey Deschanel, and 3) Cate Blanchett. I first saw Parker in Dazed & Confused when I was 13 years old. As a teenager on the verge of entering high school, her freshman hazing ritual terrified me. Yet, I have loved her ever since then. She is amazing in all of the Christopher Guest movies (especially Waiting for Guffman and Best in Show), and she stole my heart in The Oh in Ohio. I adored her in Party Girl and House of Yes. Broken English was one of the best roles she's ever had. But, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that she absolutely rocked her role in Josie and the Pussycats. Her makeup and outfits were killer. Her character in that movie is my #1 fashion icon. For serious.

So, this post is my tribute to Parker Posey. She's gorgeous, talented, awkward, hilarious, and real.
