Hobo bags originally were carried on a stick, over a hobo's shoulder. In the bag was their life. Thus, the modern day Hobo bag - purses women need to hall around their life. What is great about this Olivia Harris bag is that it is still great quality w/out the heaviness of a lot of the humongous hobo bags. Besides carrying all my crap, it is good for covering up your gut on bloated days (that's what the celebs do), perfect for slinging when a real hobo tries to snatch it and great for airplane travel now that we have to pay for our bags. In fact, the airlines are encouraging all of us to become hobo's really. If you can't put everything in a hobo bag, don't bother flying.
Without sacrificing fashion for utility, this hobo bag becomes my new BFF or maybe life partner or instead of my boo, my hobo.

I would LOVE to own this gorgeous bag because as much as I love all my $1.79 thrift store bags, it's nice to have something luxurious every once in awhile. This is the kind of bag that you could carry with just about anything, too, which is perfect because I cannot even tell you how many times I've switched purses, only to realize at the checkout that I left my wallet in the first one!

any girl would be lucky to add this classic olivia harris bag to her wardrobe! it's so versatile (great for work, school, or shopping) and timeless, hence why i know it would be a treasured possession of its proud new owner for many years to come. if i win this bag i think it would be a perfect christmas gift to stuff with a few goodies and give to a friend or family member (i'm not sure who the ideal recepient would be yet, it's going to be a difficult decision).
